Rustic Western Wedding at The Barn at Elk Shoal Creek | Brooke & Dakota
9/14/2024
Brooke and Dakota’s September wedding at The Barn at Elk Shoal Creek in Claremont, NC was full of love, laughter, and rustic western charm. Set against the scenic foothills of North Carolina, their day perfectly blended cow print details, personal touches, and lush, romantic florals into one unforgettable celebration.
Brooke envisioned a rich, earthy palette, and we brought that vision to life with rust and terracotta tones, deep burgundy and dark red blooms, and warm cream and toffee roses. Her bridal bouquet was a garden-inspired mix of premium blooms, tied with flowing ribbon for a soft, romantic finish.
The bridesmaids carried coordinating bouquets, and we designed boutonnières and corsages for the wedding party and close family members. One of our favorite pieces was the ceremony arch—a lush installation of florals and greenery that framed their vows beautifully and was later repurposed for the sweetheart table.
Inside the barn, tables were decorated with low floral centerpieces in gold compote vases and clusters of bud vases in amber and clear glass. These sat atop cedar wood slices to enhance the rustic, western feel of the space, with fun cow print details tying everything together.
This wedding was such a joy to be part of—not only because of the sweet couple, but also because of the amazing team behind the scenes. Brooke’s sister Brittany took on the role of planner and did a fantastic job, and my best friend Miranda came along to help with installation and setup.
It was truly a day to remember, and I’m so honored Evermore Florals got to be part of it.
