Romantic Blush and White Wedding at First Baptist Maiden | Laura & Hunter
Back in March, I had the joy of designing wedding flowers for Laura and Hunter’s beautiful celebration at First Baptist Maiden Church in Maiden, NC. Their vision was romantic & garden-inspired and from the moment Laura told me she wanted her bouquet to be “big,” I knew it was going to be a floral-forward day full of beauty.
Laura and Hunter chose a soft, romantic palette of blush, white, and sage green. This classic color combination perfectly suited their wedding and created an elegant, garden-inspired feel that carried throughout the day.
Floral Designs
Bridal Bouquet: Laura carried a large, lush bouquet filled with romantic white and blush blooms, accented with sage greenery for texture and movement. It was designed to feel abundant and timeless, just as she envisioned.
Bridesmaids’ Bouquets: Coordinated smaller bouquets featuring the same blush, white, and sage palette for a cohesive bridal party look.
Ceremony Statement Piece: At the altar, a floral arrangement was created for the center of the wooden cross. The statement piece featured a lush mix of blooms and greenery, drawing the eye toward the cross and serving as a meaningful backdrop for the vows.
Lantern Florals: Lanterns with bows and cascading greenery were placed at the altar, framing the ceremony space with soft, romantic details.
Boutonnières: The groom and groomsmen wore boutonnières made with delicate white blooms and greenery, designed to complement the bridal party’s bouquets.
One of my favorite details from this wedding was the cross arrangement at the altar. Positioned at the center, it symbolized faith while adding a striking focal point for the ceremony.
